ABOUT ME

Sophie Boucher-Giles

I have worked with children professionally for over twenty years, and in this time have also gained two degrees - an honours degree in English, in which I specialised in child linguistic acquisition, and an honours degree in Medical studies, which included a clinical paediatric attachment. I also have post-graduate training in Education (Primary) but do not have teaching status (QTS), preferring instead to spend my career working with individual families and children in their own homes and care-settings.

In addition, I am qualified to teach CPR and First Aid for infants, children and adults (Emergency First Response), am a PADI scuba instructor, and speak French and Spanish.

I have full DBS Enhanced clearance, professional indemnity and public liability cover and was OFSTED registered whilst working predominantly in private homes.

Although the majority of my clients are based in London and around the UK, I am happy to travel. In the recent past, I have worked on Australia's Sunshine Coast, in Puerto Rico, Dallas, St. Barth's, Paris, Courchevel, Geneva and Annency. I have worked with British families, families from Saudi Arabia, Australia, China, America and all over Europe.
